Sherwood Phoenix Pianos Nottinghamshire presents this Steinway & Sons Model O grand piano in a classic black case with 88 keys and an unusual celeste rail, allowing for much quieter playing when required. At approximately 180cm long, the Model O is a fantastic size for the home, while still offering the depth, resonance and presence you would expect from a Steinway grand.
This is very much a player’s piano – a mature Steinway with a lovely individual character, responsive touch and plenty of tonal colour. It has a warm, expressive sound with excellent dynamic range, making it an instrument that rewards sensitive playing and offers plenty for an experienced pianist to explore.
The addition of the celeste rail is particularly unusual on a Steinway grand and provides a useful option for quieter practice at home. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a musician looking for a characterful Steinway to genuinely enjoy and play.
