The new and updated version of the very popular C120.

Here we have a New Schimmel C121EM upright piano by Schimmel, Germany.
This model has had many improvements to increase it’s stability, particular in regards to humidity and temperature sensitivity.

New features include:

– Mass-reduced bridge to increase resonance, sustain and tonal flexibility.
– Reinforced iron plate back-frame and pressure bars for extra tuning stability.
– A Reinforced keyrail – keyboard design, adding further stability in transportation.
– A Reinforced cabinet design and keybed. This adds further resilience and stability with fluctuating humidity and climate changes.
– Full Renner action designed by Schimmel.

All Classic Schimmel uprights are equipped with a full Renner action, as good as actions get for upright pianos. This is to satisfy pianists of all levels with maximum control of repetition speed and accuracy.

The C121 has that signature, velvety Schimmel sound, wonderfully warm and mellow tone with a little bite. It has lots of dynamics, resonance and power, an absolute delight to play!

This particular example is in the new ‘Super Matte’ finish with chrome hardware, which is lovely and smooth to the touch. It does not show finger prints or dust very easily. It is a fantastic low maintenance alternative to the polyester black!

The ‘EM’ in this version stands for ‘Elegance Manhatten’. A striking cabinet design thats a blend of both art-deco and a contemporary style together.

A custom made, matching piano stool made by Hidrau is available for this particular piano too, as seen in the photos.
